Rebuilding a 50-year paper manufacturer's site for buyers, investors, and talent
Emami Paper Mills is one of India's largest newsprint and packaging board manufacturers, part of the Emami Group. The brief was to unify four product lines, an investor relations hub, ESG reporting, and careers into one fast, credible corporate site — without it feeling like four separate sites stitched together.

Results & Impact
As with any recent relaunch, the figures below are early, directional placeholders meant to show the shape of the story — replace them with verified analytics and search console data once available.
A 50-year manufacturer has three audiences reading the same website for three different reasons: a procurement buyer comparing paper grades, an investor checking a disclosure, and a candidate deciding whether to apply. The old site made all three dig for what they needed.
The Challenge
Product information for Newsprint, Writing & Printing Paper, Packaging Board, and Specialty Paper was spread across inconsistent page templates, making it hard for buyers to compare grades or find a spec sheet quickly.
Investor disclosures (including Regulation 46 filings) and ESG/sustainability reporting were buried several clicks deep, which is a real problem for a listed manufacturer where timely, easy-to-find disclosure matters to the market.
Page weight and load times were working against the brand — slow pages don't inspire confidence in a company selling on reliability and scale.
Research & Approach
The first step was an information architecture audit across all four product lines plus investor relations, ESG, and careers — mapping which content served which audience, and where those paths currently collided.
From there, the IA was split into three clear top-level journeys — Products, Investors, and Careers — each optimized for the way that audience actually scans a page, instead of one generic corporate template reused everywhere.
Design & Development Process
Product pages were rebuilt as a reusable component template — grade, specification, application, and downloadable spec sheet in a consistent layout — so adding a new product line no longer means designing a new page from scratch.
Visually, the system leans on a nature-forward palette and paper-texture accents that tie back to the sustainability story (the brand's 50-year anniversary badge and eco-focused product lines like Emami Eco Strong), while keeping the investor and compliance sections restrained and document-led.
Performance was treated as a feature, not an afterthought: optimized image delivery, lazy-loaded media, and lean component markup to keep the heavier product and investor pages fast on mobile.
Investor & Careers Experience
The investor section was restructured into a clear, chronological disclosure archive so Regulation 46 filings and financial highlights are found in seconds rather than buried in a PDF dump.
Careers got its own dedicated entry point with a straightforward path from job listing to application, separated cleanly from the product-buyer and investor journeys.
